Angela Ormsby Davis
Angela’s decision to join TCL was grounded in our shared belief that mental health is a vital part of healthy living. She also valued the opportunity to apply various theoretical approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Angela is passionate about empowering and collaborating with children and families to identify and connect with their inner strengths and resources to approach life's challenges. She prides herself on her ability to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space, thanks to her down-to-earth nature, sense of humor, and personable demeanor. Angela firmly believes that every individual deserves a safe, healing environment to process and grow. She also sees people as the true "experts" in their own lives. Angela decided on a career in counseling to serve as a guide and mentor as clients work through the therapeutic process and reach their goals. Angela earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Special Education, from the University of New Mexico. She later completed her M.A. in Clinical Counseling at Adam's State University in Colorado. Angela is originally from Santa Maria, California. She has called Albuquerque home for nearly 30 years. When she is not working, Angela enjoys spending time with her six children, hiking, gardening, horseback riding, interior design and enjoying a cup of coffee with her husband outside by their koi pond.
