Tiara Lopez

Community Support Worker

Tiara Lopez, BS Family Studies, is a devoted Community Support Worker at The Community Lighthouse, where her passion for helping children and families shines through in every interaction. Born and raised in Albuquerque, with family roots in Northern New Mexico’s Española, Tiara is deeply connected to her community and committed to making a meaningful difference.

Tiara’s educational journey includes studies at the University of New Mexico, but she credits much of her learning to the children and families she worked with during her time in the child welfare field. Her approach reflects her belief in the power of connection, safety, and care to help children grow into their best selves. Tiara is passionate about being a steadfast presence for those navigating difficult times, helping them move from darkness to light.

An outdoor enthusiast, Tiara loves adventure and activities like dirt biking, hiking, and skiing. She shares her life with two beloved fur babies, Tiko and Lila, who bring her joy and companionship. Tiara lives by the motto, “Our attitude creates our weather—we get to choose what kind of day it will be!”—a guiding principle in her work and life.

At The Community Lighthouse, Tiara embodies a commitment to creating safe, nurturing spaces for children and families, perfectly aligning with TCL’s mission to foster healing and growth for generations to come.
