Community Support Worker
Kimberly Barnhart, BS, is a passionate Community Support Worker at The Community Lighthouse, dedicated to improving mental health and advocating for the well-being of children and families. A native of Albuquerque, Kimberly’s commitment to mental health stems from her belief that practical support and advocacy can strengthen the entire community.
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of New Mexico in 2020. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Southwest, preparing for a future as a mental health counselor. Her role at TCL provides valuable hands-on experience, allowing her to make a meaningful impact while working toward her career goals.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and painting, activities that keep her balanced and creative. She is also a proud mother to her almost three-year-old daughter and shares her home with four beloved cats. Kimberly's dedication to her work and family embodies TCL’s mission to empower individuals and families to heal and grow.
