Mykala Repati
Therapist, LMSW
Mykala is an enthusiastic member of our team at The Community Lighthouse, inspired by our mission to initiate the healing process for children and families early on, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to realize their full potential. Her decision to join TCL was influenced by our commitment to creating an uplifting environment that supports both clients and clinicians.
With a background that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Writing, with double minors in Psychology and Mathematics from Northland College, and a Master's in Social Work focused on Mental Health, Addiction, and Families from Tulane University School of Social Work, Mykala brings a well-rounded perspective to her role. Her additional studies at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, where she received institutional endorsement for School Social Work, further equip her to make a significant impact in her field.
Originally from the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mykala has recently moved to Albuquerque, drawn to the area’s stunning natural landscape which she looks forward to exploring. At home, she enjoys writing and spending time with her black cat, Serena, activities that allow her to recharge and bring creativity into her professional life.
At The Community Lighthouse, Mykala is dedicated to providing a non-judgmental space where clients can understand themselves better and harness their innate strengths for growth. Her approach aligns with our values of guiding children toward healing and wellness, staying curious, and investing in growth, helping ensure that no one has to struggle alone.
