Christian Mateo, BSN, HIM, is a dynamic new member of the team at The Community Lighthouse, where he brings a fresh enthusiasm to our healthcare environment. Christian is excited about the opportunities to learn and grow in his new role, looking forward to contributing to the team and the people we serve.

Christian chose a career in the healthcare industry due to his passion for working directly with clients and making a positive impact on their lives. He holds an Associate's degree in Health Information Technology from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

Originally from the Philippines, Christian has embraced the rich cultural experiences of living in New Mexico. He is an avid cook who enjoys preparing a variety of dishes, from Asian to Italian and American cuisine. In his free time, Christian stays active by playing basketball and volleyball and relaxes by playing online games. He is also a travel enthusiast, having explored much of Asia and several states in the U.S.

At home, Christian's companion is a pug named Kobe, adding joy to his daily life. Christian's bilingual ability in Tagalog/Filipino enhances his communication with a diverse client base, enriching his interactions and support at The Community Lighthouse.
