Morgan Young

Community Support Worker

Morgan is a dedicated member of our team at The Community Lighthouse, bringing her enthusiasm and commitment to her role as she continues to expand her expertise in working with children. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Mexico, Morgan is on a clear path to further her career, aiming to specialize in child counseling once she completes her master's degree.

A true New Mexican, born and raised, Morgan’s deep connection to the community enriches her understanding and empathy towards the children and families she works with. Her choice to join the behavioral health industry is driven by a desire to build her skills and knowledge to support her goal of becoming a child counselor.

Outside of her professional interests, Morgan is also musically inclined, playing the piano and singing. She enjoys drawing, which adds a creative layer to her therapeutic approaches. Additionally, she shares her home with her beloved cat and is proud to be left-handed, which she jokes gives her a creative edge.

At The Community Lighthouse, Morgan embodies our commitment to guiding children toward healing and wellness. She plays an integral role in our mission to empower families, children, and professionals to heal trauma for generations to come, demonstrating our core values of staying curious, investing in growth, and building healthy relationships. Her presence ensures that our community moves toward healing, one child at a time.
