Alejandra Tapia

Community Support Worker - Bilingual

Alejandra Tapia is a valued bilingual Community Support Worker at The Community Lighthouse, where she brings a deep commitment to fostering healthy and happy lives among the children and families she works with. Her work is informed by her studies in Psychology at the Universidad de

Guadalajara - Health Sciences Campus, and her innate passion for making a meaningful difference in the community.

Originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco—the land of Mariachi and Tequila—Alejandra has recently made New Mexico her home. She quickly fell in love with the state's majestic mountains and vibrant autumn colors, which complement her hobbies of reading and taking long walks with her labradoodle, Aspen.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Alejandra continues to expand her linguistic skills with the hope of becoming fluent in French. Her bilingual ability enhances her capacity to connect with a diverse client base, providing invaluable support and understanding.

As she looks forward to getting married and building her life in New Mexico, Alejandra embodies the values of The Community Lighthouse by staying curious, investing in growth, and building healthy relationships. Her presence at TCL is a significant asset, contributing to our mission of empowering families, children, and professionals to heal trauma for generations to come and helping us achieve our vision of healing the world, one child at a time.
