Originally from Northern California, Whitnie graduated with honors in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. Since joining The Community Lighthouse in 2018 as a BMS provider, she has taken on the role of recruiter, where her talent for organization and connection helps grow the team and expand access to essential services within the community. The supportive and flexible environment at The Community Lighthouse has been invaluable, allowing Whitnie to thrive in her career while embracing her role as a mother—a balance she deeply values and one of the many reasons she’s proud to work here.

Whitnie is also an avid traveler, tracking her adventures with a state pin board and collecting mini Starbucks "Places You’ve Been" mugs from each destination. When she's not working or traveling, she treasures time spent with her husband and son. You might also find her shopping for home decor, knitting, hiking, building Legos, diving into a good podcast, or baking up something delicious when time allows.
