Welcome to The Community Lighthouse
Since 1994, The Community Lighthouse has been committed to helping children and families find healing, resilience, and happiness. Founded by Mark Ferriegel, LPCC, and Charlotte Knauber, LPCC, we began with a mission to support children dealing with life’s challenges through therapeutic play. Today, we offer a full range of mental health services for children, teens, adults, and families, with a focus on meeting each person’s unique needs.
For clients, this means finding care that’s crafted just for you. Whether you’re looking for support for yourself, a child, teen, or your family, we’re here to help you live a healthier, more fulfilling life. Our caring team believes in the power of mental health and is dedicated to supporting each person’s path toward positive change and growth.

Led by our CEO, Pierce Ferriegel, since 2013, The Community Lighthouse places high importance on supporting our team. We believe that when our team is well-cared for, they provide the best possible care for clients. Pierce’s leadership has been essential in expanding our services across New Mexico, making mental health care accessible statewide.
Our commitment to quality has earned us recognition, including the 2017 ‘Fastest Growing Companies’ award from Albuquerque Business First. Pierce also serves on the New Mexico Behavioral Health Providers Association and the National Counsel working to improve access to mental health services across the state.
