Ella Fendian
Clinician - LMSWElla Fendian, LMSW, is a passionate therapist at The Community Lighthouse, where a commitment to compassion, teamwork, and growth guides her work. Drawn to TCL by its strong culture of kindness, accountability, and collaboration, Ella values being part of a team that supports one another and shares a deep dedication to healing and positive change.
Ella earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Rutgers University, where she double-majored in Psychology and Communications in the Honors Program before completing her Master’s in Clinical Social Work. Originally from New Jersey, Ella recently made the move to New Mexico and has felt truly welcomed by the TCL community—an experience that speaks volumes about the heart of the organization.
Ella’s journey into mental health was shaped by a desire to offer people—especially children—a different, healing experience with therapy. Having worked on a psychiatric unit and developed a lifelong love for working with youth, Ella believes in the power of safe, meaningful therapeutic relationships to shift the course of someone’s life. This belief aligns strongly with TCL’s mission of empowering families, children, and professionals to heal trauma for generations to come and our vision of healing the world, one child at a time.
Outside the therapy room, Ella is a creative soul who plays guitar and integrates music into her work and life. She also enjoys painting, knitting, sculpting, sewing, and staying active through running, swimming, hiking, and volleyball. Always eager to grow, Ella is fueled by a love of learning—whether through continuing education, new therapeutic approaches, or simply listening to the life experiences of those around her.
At The Community Lighthouse, Ella is proud to be part of a team that shows up with authenticity and heart, helping clients heal, grow, and discover
