Vianey Lopez Snyder, LCSW, is a compassionate and dedicated therapist at The Community Lighthouse. A first-generation Mexican-American born and raised in New Mexico, Vianey aligns closely with TCL’s mission of creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients. Her goal is to build empowering relationships that help individuals and families heal and grow.

With 15 years of experience at UNMH in various roles, Vianey witnessed the critical need for mental health providers and chose to pursue a career where she could make a meaningful difference. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University in 2019 and 2021, respectively, and has been committed to serving her community ever since.

In her free time, Vianey enjoys reading, exploring coffee shops, hiking, weightlifting, and walking along the bosque. She values time with her close-knit family and prioritizes meaningful moments with loved ones.
