Kelsey "Marina" McCartney

Therapist, LMHC

Kelsey "Marina" McCartney, LMHC, is a devoted member of our team at The Community Lighthouse. As an individual who grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, witnessing firsthand the challenges of addiction and mental health within her family, Kelsey is deeply committed to the mission of setting individuals up for success and breaking generational barriers and traumas.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies from New Mexico Highlands University, and a Master of Science in Professional Clinical Counseling from Grand Canyon University, Kelsey brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her role. As a first-generation American with roots that trace back to Mexico, she carries a unique perspective that enriches her understanding and empathy towards the diverse needs of our community.

Kelsey is passionate about traveling, reading, and continually learning new things, which she believes enhances her ability to connect with and support her clients. She enjoys spending quality time with her dog, Jito, and believes in the therapeutic power of humor, often incorporating laughter into her clinical practice as a way to foster healing and resilience.

At The Community Lighthouse, Kelsey embodies our values of investing in growth, building healthy relationships, and guiding individuals toward healing and wellness. Her dedication and innovative approach contribute significantly to our mission of empowering families, children, and professionals to heal trauma for generations to come, helping us move closer to our vision of healing the world, one individual at a time.
